This be my wedding website.
My very own wedding has a website!
Unbelievable as every single word sounds to me, it is the next 54 days that will probably be the joy ride. Is there a word that means un-wait-able?
"Pelli sandadi", indeed! ;)
In case you have just tuned in to our world, Neha was two years my junior in VCE. The campus love story blossomed into a full-fledged family entertainer with parents, siblings, uncles, aunts and grandparents. Late night serenades and silent duets at coffee shops. You know.. the works! Sooner than enough, came the base question on everyone's minds - "So when you planning to settle down?"
Honestly, we never really thought about it so deeply. We would joke about how often we'd get to see each other - a few couple times in a year! To put it in perspective, that is marginally better than the number of times the Lok Sabha convenes for a session in a year. Surely... marriage was never on the cards.
However that stance slowly came to change after my trip to Hyd around July-August. Close relatives and well-wishers shared their thoughts with us. I still remember talking to Ramu Anna and Pamela Vadina about what I'm waiting for. One phone conversation with Sashi changed my thoughts forever. What were we really waiting for? What really? Hmmmm....
Swift edit - Mahesh Babu mouthing THAT dialogue from Pokiri - "Okka saari nenu commit aithe.. "
Cut to Nov 28th 2009. Chikkadpally. Neha's glowing in smiles in front of me and I'm surrounded by family elders. Twiddling my fingers at my own engagement ceremony. "Will this take long?"
And that is it. A chopped down tale of love and long-distance calls.
With 30th May not too far away, i'm now eagerly waiting to welcome the girl of my dreams into my life. The days ahead will now mean the world to us.
For that, i'm glad you dropped by to visit us. We will need your prayers and wishes.
Thanks and see you at the wedding!
Love,
Ramakant
